Hey Guys! Prom Season is here again! I will give out tips to guys who still does not know what to do before prom. So here are some tips to follow before the Prom Night :-bd
THE FACE:
-Don't put too much powder on! You don't wanna be the Snow White for the night, right?
-If you're wearing glasses, put it down for a night and just wear some contact lenses.
-Get rid of all the piercings in your face!
THE HAIR:
-You can't pull off the Dragon Ball-Z Law in an event like this!
-No
"emo" hairstyle too! That is waaaaaay last last last year.
-you can do some bangs but not too much that it already covers half of your face.
-You'll never go wrong with a simple and neat looking combed hair a.k.a The Innocent Look.
-Don't apply too much hair products, it can make your hair dry after.
THE ACCESSORIES:
-Just wear a formal watch. The only jewelry, for me, that a guy should only wear is a watch.
-Handkerchief. A gentleman always has a handkerchief in his pocket (not to make the girls cry).
-If you're bringing money, your wallet should be leather. Don't bring those schoolboy wallets that you have in this event.
-Put on a perfume that is not too strong for you. Mild scents would do.
THE GET-UP:
-Don't be toooooo old school. If you know what I mean.
-Try out those slim fit suits.
-If you're body frame is a bit large, try wearing something that would not make you look like a longaniza.
-Wear suits that
FITS you
PERFECTLY.
-As much as possible, dont't work the "bow tie" outfit out! you'll look like a waiter. But on second thought, it's how you work your "get-up".
-Learn how to tie your tie! P.S. the bottom part of your tie should be in front of your belt buckle.
-Your inner shirt and tie
SHOULD match. Don't wear colors that are dark, it would make you look old. Also, don't wear
"jabar" colors (you don't wanna party all night with your arms clipped). You'll never go wrong with White.
-Your slacks should definitely not look awkward on you. The length should be just right.
-Black socks is a
must! Don't even dare to wear white socks on a formal event.
-Wear shoes that are approriate to you "get-up". Don't wear shoes like what Ronald McDonald wears, I tell you!
Some additional tips:
-This is a socializing event people, you can't just sit around in one corner and cry all night just because you didn't get a chance to dance with your crush or whatever.
-Make sure that you have brushed your teeth very well before coming to the place, cut your nails, clean your ears out. To sum it all up,
BE NEAT!
-Be classy the whole night.
-Last and most importantly, Don't forget to
HAVE FUN!
